Too bad there isn't any Rockaberry in Taiwan :P

Rockaberry is famous for the Pies. There are two type of Pie: Cream Pie, and traditional Crumbs Pie.



There are a few branches in MTL, but I only like the one on St. Denis. It took us almost 2 hours to find a parking space on a Friday night... I would suggest you to go by bus, or walk there. There's a bus stop not too far away from the store =)



When we arrive Rockaberry, there are about 20+ people lining up in front of the store for a seat. Quite scary! The front door photo was taken when the store is almost closed for the day.





On top and the middle shelves of the refrigerator is the Cream Pie and the bottom is the Crumbs Pie. There are too many customer today, so the pie runs out faaaaast! If you spot one pie which you wanna eat very much, you better order it right away, or else someone might just grab it before you do.



You can buy whole pie or by slices. Take out or have it in store.






The apple crumbs is the best I've ever had! Cream Pie is very rich and fat but delicious! You might need to exercise for a whole month in order to loose all the fat you've gained from a single slice of cream pie. However, I still love it and come to this place at least once a month XD






There are 2 1/2 floors at this Rockaberry branch. Where's the 1/2? It's right above front door near the window. When I come, I always prefer to sit at this area, because night view of St. Denis is quite adorable. There are about 20 seats at this area. Less people = Not noisy.







There are too many customers tonight, so we have no choice to sit on the first floor... very crowded! By the way, during summer you can sit outdoor. It's quite nice but I always find it too hot and too awkward to see people walking by me checking out what I am eating :P






Because of the extra 1/2 floor, the ceiling is quite high if view it from the first floor. This paiting is hanging on the wall. The area on the right is the 1/2 floor area. On left, there's a smoking area, but it's more like a lounge where you can relax sitting on the sofa having little chit chat with friends.

We've waited for quite some time until our meal arrives.






This is Chocolate Butter Crunch and Banana Milkshake. My friend orders Strawberry Milkshake. Rockaberry has great milkshakes. It's large and not too pricey. But it used to be cheaper, about CAD$3.75. I believe now they sell it for CAD$4.50 or more.




Usually I would order Strawberry Cheese Cream Pie or Keylime Pie. Today these two favorite pies have run out, so I order Chocolate Butter Crunch instead. It has very strong Chocolate taste, and crunchy caramel in between. This is Rockaberry's new invention. Quite nice, just a bit too sweet for me.


Rockaberry serves LARGE LARGE Pies. Each slice is about 1/4 of a 10" Pie. Used to be $4.25, and now it's about $5.50.





This is Chocolate Banana Cream Pie. It tastes much better than my Chocolate Butter Crunch, as Banana is not as sweet as caramel.

Before we leave the restaurant, I bought a few slices of apple crumbs home, cuz their crumbs are not resistable!! Can always warm them in oven before eating. Taste much better =) Add a single scoop or vanilla ice cream... imagine that!
