This is the ice cream which I would crave for even when I caught a bad cold...



j.p.licks Homemade Ice Cream is not the number one shop in town, but for sure it is in the top 5. Because there's a store near where I live and because their ice cream is so tasteful, I've become a loyal customer to this little ice cream shop in downtown area.



There are many branches in town, and the one near where I live is on Newbury. If you know Boston well, you would know Newbury is the street full of brand shops and can spend a whole day there shopping. There are many restaurants and cafe on Newbury.

I've passed by this ice cream shop many times but had no mood to try it out. Until one day when I was really craving for fresh ice creams over the bucket ones sold in supermarket, I dragged my friend to go to j.p.licks with me.

Though this restaurant is called Muggles, it has nothing to do with Harry Potter =)



I have invited parents to come try out the new restaurant with me for more than 2 years but never make it! Because my parents still prefer to cook and dine at home, unlike me who loves to try out new restaurants once awhile.



It's rare that my dad suggests to dine out today, and I can pick whichever restaurant I want :D Of course I'd pick some restaurant not too far away, and easy to find parking space.

Jia-Ler is a rather famous cake shop in Taoyuan City and is famous for its Boston Pie. I used to love their fruit pie so much just because the crunchy pie tart it has. But now I am more into Boston Pie, cuz you cannot find any Boston Pie better than Jia Ler's in Taiwan!



Freshly made, Boston Pie has great and not so sweet cream in the middle. Cake itself is quite fluffy, and the sweetness is just right. I can finish 1/2 cake at once without any problem.

Too bad there isn't any Rockaberry in Taiwan :P

Rockaberry is famous for the Pies. There are two type of Pie: Cream Pie, and traditional Crumbs Pie.

After having delicious egg tarts, we decided to check out Yee Shun Milk Company, if we can find it. According to my bro, Yee Shun is located right next to the fountain in front of the City place.


We actually walk around the City center, and realize there are just too many fountains nearby! From the fountain in front of the great church to Angel fountain, we saw at least 3 fountains near Ruin's of St. Paul's. Not until we are about to give up looking for the store, we arrive the fountain in front of the Official Provisional Municipal Council of Macau, and suddenly remember bro did mention something like Provisional Municipal Council.. I am still out of my mind, Sandy has found the store!



When we arrived the plaza, we were right on time for the lantern festival ceremony, good timing! All the guests looks like they are quite famous in town, just like celebrities, however we don't know any of them ^^;; The event is held in Cantonese/English/Portuguese
